SUMMARY:Vedantic Path to Self-Realisation - 2
DESCRIPTION:Vedantic Path to Self-Realisation – 2\nMay 4-17th\, 2025\n\n\n\n\nThis beautiful 12-day course is an introduction into the study of Vedanta\, the practical path to self-realisation and liberation (moksha).  We will delve deep into the Self to find the solution to problems that the world presents to us for a path from illusion\, miseries\, sufferings and death to eternal happiness\, bliss and freedom. \nWe will study the basic Vedantic introductory texts\, the Tattvabodha and Attmabodha of Sri Adi Shankaracharyaji and the Gita Saaram\, which summarizes the message of the Bhagavad Gita and is a powerful Vedantic pillar. \nTattva Bodha literally means the knowledge of truth\, the real and permanent by discriminating from unreal or impermanent. As we study the Tattva Bodha [a consciousness to distinguish between the material and spiritual dimensions of our life] we will reflect on applying this wisdom practically into our lives. \nThe Attma Bodha consolidates the doctrine of Advaita Vedanta which shares roots with Sage Patanjali’s Yoga\, we would try to sail our life boat in the Holy-river of self-knowledge and build a strong awareness of Atman. \nAfter having a clear conviction\, the core power of our life and existence – the self\, we will study the Gita Saaram that posits the existence of Atman in all beings and discuss the principles of Karma as a philosophy to understand that every thought\, word and action – our karma results in some outcome in our life and creates a modulation on our citta as a storehouse of all past impressions. \nTo understand clearly the impact of the combination of our material life and spiritual journey\, this three-dimensional course becomes very important for everyone who is seeking eternal happiness\, bliss and freedom. \nEach day begins with yoga and yagna; includes meditation by the holy banks of Mother Ganga\, morning walks\, and\, ends with the world-renowned Ganga Aarti on the holy banks of Ma Ganga in the sacred lap of the majestic Himalayas followed by the spiritual Satsang with Pujya Sadhviji and / or Darshan with Pujya Swamiji [when they are available] providing a beautiful immersive experience of the sacred\nwisdom of Vedantic teachings.

SUMMARY:Buddha Purnima Silent Spiritual Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Buddha Purnima Silent Spiritual Retreat\nMay 11-13th\, 2025\n\n\n\n\nThe central aspiration of a Dharma practice is to discover stillness and silence of mind\, so what better way to celebrate the birth of Lord Buddha than to spend three days in silent meditation and contemplation. From this point the material world can fall away so that we discover freedom and the end of suffering. As we bask in complete stillness\, we will gain balance and wisdom through introspection and self-cultivation. And\, together – in puja and prayer\, through asana and meditation – we can finally begin to remove suffering from our life so that we can realize the fullness of our True Selves and be of even greater service to the Divine and to all of humanity.
