This 7-day Yoga Therapy retreat offers a traditional yogic approach to the management of Diabetes, bringing balance to the body and mind through classical practices that support the natural functioning of the endocrine and nervous systems.
In yoga, Diabetes is understood as a physical condition, and, also as an imbalance arising from lifestyle, stress, and mental patterns. Through a structured and disciplined routine, participants learn practical tools for self-management of Diabetes.
Each day includes a gentle focus on the chakras, progressing from grounding to higher awareness, supporting balance at the physical, mental, and pranic levels.
Bhakti Yoga / Chanting and awareness practices are integrated to cultivate discipline, steadiness, clarity, and inner balance. The aim of the retreat is to introduce a balanced way of living utilizing yoga so that participants can manage their condition more effectively and improve their overall quality of life.
Set in the peaceful surroundings of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, on the holy banks of Maa Ganga, the retreat provides a supportive environment for sadhana, self-reflection, and inner balance.
Each day begins with yagna for World Health and World Peace; and, ends with the world-renowned Ganga Aarti on the holy banks of Ma Ganga in the sacred lap of the majestic Himalayas followed by the spiritual Satsang with Pujya Sadhviji and / or Darshan with Pujya Swamiji when they are at the Ashram.
Dress code: Modest for Ashram setting. You may wear white or the chakra colours that inspire your inner balance, spiritual and emotional well being.
